Desist, Detrans, and Detox is a conversion therapy instruction manual that clearly advocates for and attempts to normalize the abuse of children, which is in violation of amazon’s policy on offensive content which bans content that “is hate speech, promotes the abuse or sexual exploitation of children.”

To show how this book violates this policy, I’ve included some examples of how the book instructs parents to neglect, isolate and abuse their children, and avoid Child Protective Services:

“Your child may run away. Your child may self-harm. Your child may call a child protection agency on you... A year or two (or more) worth of hardship, struggling with an intractable and infuriated son or daughter, may prevent a lifetime of regret.”

“By REMOVING something WANTED (dinner), you may EXTINGUISH (or discourage) the target behavior, which is your daughter ignoring her given name.”

“If you sense antagonism from a group’s leaders, it might be wise to cut ties with that group rather than risk being reported to a child protective services agency.”

This book being hosted on Amazon is a clear violation of your policies and must be removed immediately to protect children and prevent further abuses.
